How do you make decisions? Mostly you rely on your experience or your intuition of what “feels right”.
This is system 1 thinking. But there are many occasions when you need to analyse the data or calculate the odds. You need to be more rational and objective. This is system 2 thinking. Often you will shift between system 1 and system 2 thinking to make an effective decision. It’s a great introduction to my book “System 3 Thinking: How to Choose Wisely when Facing Doubt, Dilemma and Disruption” and gives lots of hints and tips for how to make better decisions.
