Hi, I am an Australian organisational and integrative psychologist and leadership coach, and I have accumulated decades of research into how people choose wisely or foolishly. For over 30 years I have helped individuals, teams and leaders make better decisions, live a more meaningful life, and make a positive difference in the world.
I gained an Honours Degree in Economics, specialising in organisational psychology, from the University of Queensland in 1977, leading to my early career in organisational development in the mining and energy sectors in Western Australia and Queensland. Then I took a break as a professional actor. My next career move was to train in naturopathic clinical medicine and I conducted several successful practices in South-East Queensland for more than a decade. This led to teaching positions in natural medicine colleges and sales management and education roles for Australian and North American natural pharmaceutical companies. In 2000 I was recognised as one of the pioneers in functional medicine in Australia. After completing a Masters Degree in Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) at the University of Sydney in 2005 I transitioned into executive coaching and human capital consulting roles for boutique and global consulting firms. I served a 3-year term as Director Research & Curriculum for the ICLIF Executive Education Centre, Asia School of Business based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia before returning to Australia in 2019. I am now an associate facilitator, organisational psychologist and leadership coach for PBC, Bendelta, and my own consultancy, Intentional Training Concepts. And I maintain a practice of integrative psychology at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine.
I’ve always been curious about decision making and what drives wise choices in my life and in the lives of others. I recognise that we now hold the collected knowledge of humanity in the palm of our hand, yet there has never been a more urgent need for wisdom. See my LinkedIn Profile
